Amanda graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2007 with a BA in Business Administration and Theatre. Following graduation, she worked in the entertainment industry managing various payroll and accounting functions for theatrical touring company Broadway Asia Entertainment and the CBS Corporation. After working in the entertainment industry a few years, she accepted the position of Budget Coordinator with the Music Department in NYU’s Steinhardt School with the primary responsibility of vetting, processing, and reconciling all operating expenditures. Upon relocating to North Carolina in June 2014, Amanda joined the Analytical Instrumentation Facility (AIF) as its Business Services Coordinator. At AIF, Amanda oversees the financial functions of the facility including budgeting, accounting, and reporting. On a daily basis, this includes billing clients for use of the facility via interdepartmental transaction or invoice, submitting vouchers to pay invoices for goods or services rendered, and reconciling those revenues and expenses. She also communicates with external clients to assist with the execution of testing services agreements and answer any questions they may have.
