Sep 16th, 2015 – NSF-Funded Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network (RTNN)

Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network (RTNN) is a collaboration between NC State University, Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Led by NC State, this partnership won the NSF award and is supported by a five-year, 5.5 million grant from NSF.

Jacob Jones, a professor of materials science and engineering and director of analytical instrumentation facility at NC state is the principal investigator of the grant.

“The grant will fund efforts to open our doors and work more effectively with the public, from major corporations and start-ups to community colleges and K-12 educators,” says Jacob Jones.
