The NC State Analytical Instrumentation Facility (AIF) is organizing a 2nd bio-imaging user group “virtual” meeting.  We are excited to introduce our new and upcoming instrumentations for Biotechnology and Life Sciences Research.

(1) Dr. Jansson will discuss our current XRM and its imaging capability on biological materials: Zeiss Xradia 510 Versa X-ray Nano-microscope (nano-CT) System.
(2) Dr. Bell will discuss our current Leica Freeze Fracture System and upcoming High Pressure Freezer-Automated Freeze Substitution (HPF-AFS) System for better preparing biological samples for SEM/TEM.
(3) Mr. Strader will discuss our Nanoindentation/Bioindentation on characterizing biological materials.
