New NC State Undergraduate Job Opportunity!

Undergraduate Student Worker, RTNN Center Support, NC State University

We are currently seeking undergraduate candidates for new positions that support Center-level research programming efforts including those of the Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network (RTNN) and beyond. The RTNN (www.rtnn.org) is a partnership between the nanotechnology core facilities at NC State, Duke, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The aspirational vision of the RTNN is to identify and respond to emerging nanotechnology infrastructure needs that will enable researchers to address societal grand challenges of the next decade, using our facilities as a focal point for discussion and convergence of academic disciplines, industries, the public and private sector, and individuals.

Selected students will engage with faculty and staff at multiple institutions and become part of an innovative and enthusiastic team. Potential responsibilities and duties include coordinating and implementing education and outreach activities, disseminating Center materials to various stakeholder groups, maintaining Center resources (e.g., digital library, presentations, publications, correspondences, promotional materials), collecting and collating data from Center participants (e.g., patents, publications), supporting Center events (e.g., workshops), assisting with content identification and development for Center communications (e.g., website, newsletter, social media), and completing other required tasks as needed by Center leadership. This support will be critical to the success of the Center. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume, and unofficial transcript to rtnanonetwork@ncsu.edu with “Undergraduate Position, Center Program Support” in the subject line. Questions regarding the position can also be directed to this address. Applications will be reviewed upon submission.
